@ Makondo
Damn that was some seriously impressive
and helpful advice you gave about icon size.
I need to ease up on teasing you so much.
Your advice on the subject will help me and
for that I am grateful.
Thanks Makondo

I think this thread should be stickied. There'll be a lot of inquiries after FF 56.

Using 52ESR now, after which I'll probably switch to SeaMonkey. So I hope CB will still be alive and well by then.

Waterfox just updated to v55.2.2 & I'm pleased to say that my extensions that broke with v55 now function fine, & the custom buttons that broke, that I depend on, are working again.

It's obvious that the Waterfox people are working hard at keeping the browser up-to-date on security, while maintaining add-on stability which includes most importantly (IMHO)....CUSTOM BUTTONS!!! Image

A big plus as well it works a lot like the old Firefox ....toolbars & customization-wise (IMHO) !!! Image

WEBEXTENSIONS for Custom Buttons in FIREFOX
=========================================

Codefisher has developed compatible extensions for various Custom Buttons.

These replace some of his Toolbar Buttons, still in progress:
https://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/link-button/

And the other replaces the Custom Link Button Maker
https://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/l ... ton-maker/

These, still in progress are common function buttons:
https://codefisher.org/toolbar_button/webextensions/

Wasn't CB originally on the Codefisher site years ago?
Will FF be able to support that many button extensions?
