Review button in the editor?

Postby makondo » Wed Jan 01, 2014 5:38 pm

Is it possible to have a Preview button in the editor so that you can preview changes w/out the need to OK them, find out you broke the button, go back, fix it, etc.... ? That is, if you broke the button, it won't work, obviously, but if your changes are all right, you should be able to see how they work while the editor is still open. Then click OK if you like what you see.
Possible?

No, but you can save the button without closing editor window by pressing Ctrl+S
or enable show 'Save' button from CB options.

That's just the thing, i don't want to save it. I don't want to save the changes unless i can preview and make sure i didn't screw anything up before i save and close. Right now, there seems to be no way to that other than paste the original code(-s) into some editor, make a change, save, find out you broke the button, copy and paste the code you saved, save, make another change, save, etc. At the end, paste the original code, save, close and forget it! Are you saying you can use the Save button instead of a Preview button?
