{SOLVED} Three (3) New Buttons to replace Extension Buttons

Postby BobbyW » Wed Jan 31, 2018 11:38 pm

G'Day Image

I used to use (still do if I use PM) an extension "Toolbar Buttons", by the Button Guy, first with FireFox, & then with PaleMoon. It was a wonderful assortment of Toolbar Buttons, that after years of use I have took for granted because they were always there at my disposal.....

I could have sworn it worked with WaterFox, but much to my chagrin it either no longer works, or it's just flat out busted.

The buttons that I would like to have, which were part of my PM profile that I recently migrated & morphed into WF, are:

★ Zoom In
★ Zoom Out
★ Reset Zoom

Could one of you fine gentlemen help me with these buttons for my Waterfox Browser?

They need to do just what they are labeled....Zoom the webpage in, Zoom the webpage out, Reset the Zoom to normal size(s).

Thanks,

Zoom In
Zoom Out
Zoom Reset

Shouldn't need Zoom Reset button, as it displays in the urlbar when a page is zoomed in/out.

@Sonny

Image Thanks Sonny, they work great..... Image

I know the Reset displays in the URL Bar, but having the 3 of them clustered together, where my mouse pointer finds them the easiest, is far simpler for my simple mind Image

Thanks again! Image Image

Bobby,

are you aware that Fx and WF have default zoom button? It's in the Customize palette and is one button actually:

The '100%' in the middle is Reset, of course. Here, i dragged it out between urlbar and search bar just as an example but you can place it anywhere you want:

I like to add a scroll selection into view feature to my zoom button.

I like to select a few words and zoom in, then scroll selection into view.

Zoom Scroll (no extension required)
viewtopic.php?p=2117#p2117

I have no idea if it works with your setup.

I was aware if it from day one, but:

1. It's not a custom button.
2. It doesn't suit my needs
3. Its not customizable, Icons etc....
4. I don't like it

Those who wish to use it, by all means, but Sonny's are 1000 times superior IMHO.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention though. ;)
